The Sales Account Executive plays a critical role in driving regional growth for the Sierra Auction and GovDeals business units by expanding market presence and strengthening relationships within a high-potential territory. Building an established client base of commercial sellers, this role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and delivering impactful presentations that position Sierra Auction and GovDeals as a trusted solution providers.
The ideal candidate will take a proactive, consultative approach to sales—leveraging a combination of in-person engagement, trade show participation, and consistent outreach to generate new business. Success in this role requires disciplined pipeline management, including prospecting through email and phone outreach, scheduling and conducting meetings, and maintaining persistent, value-driven follow-up. A strong emphasis is placed on ethical, professional sales practices and delivering exceptional customer experience.
This position requires frequent travel, and occasional weekend and evening commitments for trade shows and industry events.

Responsibilities- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the state of Arizona through strategic outreach, networking, and market research.
- Generate qualified leads through a combination of email campaigns, phone outreach, and participation in industry events and trade shows.
- Establish and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with commercial sellers, acting as a trusted advisor on Sierra Auction and GovDeals solutions.
- Maintain consistent, strategic contact with prospects and customers to drive engagement, retention, and account growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling in-person and virtual presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating the value and benefits of Sierra Auction and GovDeals services.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective and existing clients to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting, sales activity, and client interactions within the CRM system.
- Track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups to ensure consistent pipeline movement and achievement of sales goals.
- Perform timely, persistent follow-up on all leads, proposals, and customer inquiries to advance and close business opportunities.
- Apply ethical, professional sales techniques to secure new clients and expand existing relationships.

Education/ Experience:
2 to 5 years of experience executing targeted regional field sales, cold-calling commercial operations, and building long-term trust with asset owners, fleet managers, or franchise dealerships.
Skills and Ability:
Expert in evaluating diverse asset classes, expanding geographic territories, and managing the end-to-end consignment pipeline from initial cold call to digital auction listing.
Expert in leveraging modern CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) to track client lifecycles, combined with a strong ability to train clients on mobile bidding platforms and digital auction software.
Work Conditions/ Physical Demands:
Remote work environment requiring high-speed internet access, the ability to hard-wire to the internet router, and a dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions.
