About the Opportunity
We are looking for an individual located in Canada to join our SSI sales team who will be responsible for leading and
executing SSI’s sales and business development strategy throughout Canada, working collaboratively with SSI’s local Reseller Partner(s) to support the sales process from market development and prospecting through close of sale and follow-up.
The Position:
As an SSI Sales Account Executive (SAE) – Canada, you will learn to lead SSI’s regional sales and market development strategy for the SSI product offering throughout Canada. You will analyze customer and market trends to identify and solve market challenges. You will work with the executive management team and local SSI Reseller Partner(s) to establish and align regional sales strategies, market development initiatives, and promotional programs.
You will build SSI’s market presence, brand awareness, and strategic relationships throughout Canada, including relationships with clients, industry leaders, government, associations, and other key industry stakeholders and influencers. You will work closely with SSI’s Reseller Partner(s) to support regional opportunities and help ensure alignment between SSI’s strategy, value proposition, and regional sales activities.
You will have the opportunity to multiply your earnings through attainment of sales targets, as you grow the ShipConstructor market share. Additionally, you will have the opportunity for regular travel to client sites, conferences, and industry events in Canada & the US.
The SAE will also provide and deliver quality technical sales information and sales support to SSI Reseller Partner(s), clients, and prospects, supporting software sales and professional services while understanding and communicating the value proposition of SSI and Autodesk Products as a complete Shipbuilding Product Solution.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute SSI’s regional business development and sales strategy related to Software
Sales, working collaboratively with SSI Reseller Partner(s) to support regional sales opportunities. - Support, align, and work collaboratively with SSI Reseller Partner(s) in Canada to advance SSI’s
regional strategy, market development, and overall success. - Develop & manage business relationships within the Canadian SSI Client Base, including
Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Technology Leaders, and develop strategic relationships with
relevant government, industry associations, regional leaders, and other key industry stakeholders
and influencers. - Build and strengthen SSI’s brand, awareness, market presence, and value proposition
throughout the Canadian market in alignment with SSI’s overall strategy and Reseller Partner
activities. - Develop and maintain a working knowledge of SSI products.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Autodesk Products, as well as industry products
(including competitors’ products), as required. - Develop and maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office products as well as Microsoft Dynamics
365, including other SSI business systems, as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications, or business development
related field. - 3+ years of demonstrated work experience in software and technology sales.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Please note: the successful candidate must be a Canadian citizen or have Permanent Residency and be able and willing to travel regularly throughout North America.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications, business development, or a related field
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in software and technology sales
