Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated State, Local, and Education (SLED) Sales Acceleration Analyst to join our Sales Operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical administrative and operational support to the sales team, accelerating business processes, and maintaining an exceptional client experience.
Our State, Local, and Education Sales Acceleration team is dedicated to driving pipeline efficiency, removing operational friction, and fostering seamless collaboration between our internal experts and public sector clients.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Sales Support and Administration: Respond to incoming leads and inquiries promptly to maintain active deal momentum.
Intake & Process Management: Submit and manage internal intake forms required to smoothly onboard new business opportunities.
Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough research on potential prospects and upcoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Internal Coordination: Maintain consistent communication and proactive follow-up with Account Executives (AEs) to ensure continuous deal progression.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with clients, Solution Architects, and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver a superior customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
1-3+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a business analyst role.
Strong knowledge of public sector sales cycles, specifically within the State, Local, and Education (SLED) markets and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
Proven ability in operational coordination, stakeholder management, and delivering high-quality client engagement.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Account Executives (AEs) and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and prospect research.
