About the Role
We are currently hiring a Safety Specialist for our Valls Mill to lead the Safety and Risk Management strategy for the Mill, providing advice and support to ensure the site meets business and legal requirements relating to health and safety issues, and risk management.
The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of the factory’s Compelling Business Needs. Responsible for development of the organization capability to get the expected results (Accidents = 0). Supports the implementation of new systems and standards.

What You Will Do
- Is a Safety Leader.
- Confronts any deviation from standards.
- Is constantly challenging teams to look for a more ambitious safety solution.
- Develops the factory’s management team skills for hazards & unsafe behaviors recognition.
- Communicates the Safety Objectives to the factory making priorities clear for everybody.
- Leads Incidents investigation.
- Performs Job Safety Analysis and Machinery Safety Risk Assessments.
- Makes sure the Isolation of Hazardous Energy procedure is respected by everybody.
- Safety trainings for employees.
Who You Are
- The successful candidate will have a minimum experience of 2 years working in industrial environments
- Master degree on Safety.
- OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001.
- Engineering degree.
- 5 years of experience in industrial environments.
- High level of English, both spoken and written. The candidate must be able to conduct a telephone call in English.
- Proven team player with the ability to coach, influence and engage others. Experience managing people.
