Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Program Support- Assist in maintaining the organization's safety program by tracking safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions. Support safety inspections, hazard assessments, and safety observations. Help prepare safety communications, meetings, and toolbox talks.
  • Quality System Administration- Maintain and organize quality documentation including procedures, policies, and work instructions. Support quality management processes by assisting with documentation control and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date
  • Compliance and Audit Support- Assist with preparation and coordination of internal safety and quality audits. Maintain compliance records and support reviews to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Tracking and Reporting- Track safety and quality metrics, training completion, corrective actions, and operational data. Assist with compiling reports that support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Administrative and Operational Support- Provide general administrative support to the Safety and Quality team including maintaining site playbooks, safety files, and quality records. Assist with scheduling training sessions, meetings, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

This role operates within both an office and warehouse environment. The position may require walking the warehouse floor to support inspections, safety observations, and visual management initiatives. Work conditions may include varying temperatures typical of warehouse operations.

Days and Shift Information

Standard business hours (Monday–Friday). Occasional schedule adjustments may be required to support training, audits, or operational needs.

Qualifications

Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or safety/quality administration is preferred.

Basic experience or familiarity with:

  • Safety or quality inspections
  • Problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Documentation management or record keeping
