All about the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Safety processes and regulations within the Logistics Operations Cluster. Your goal will be to inspire and engage our team members to adopt a safe and environmentally conscious culture, making our workplace the safest in the industry and positioning us as a sustainability leader within the logistics world.
What you’ll do:
You will play a crucial role in assessing health and safety and environmental risks, developing effective action plans to mitigate or eliminate these risks. You will conduct investigations, determining root causes and defining preventive measures. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the STOP Program, while planning and executing periodic audits. You will also be involved in developing and implementing a structured Safety Management System to enhance our overall EHS practices.
In detail, you will:
- Define and implement rules and innovative solutions to enhance safety conditions and reduce the environmental impact of our logistics operations.
- Track KPIs and manage reporting to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Promote Health & Safety awareness throughout the organization, providing training and guidance to local teams.
- Support and oversee the local implementation of Central EHS programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the EHS Central Team Logistics Europe, actively contributing to its growth and development of common standards and procedures.
Who you are:
- Experience in the field of safety and environment within manufacturing or logistics organizations
- Experience with ISO45001 and ISO14001 management systems is considered a plus
- Experience in applying the behaviour-based safety approach (BBS)
- Ability to navigate matrix structure
- Strong team and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in project management and lean methodology, enabling you to drive impactful initiatives and streamline processes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Agility and an open mindset, to adapt to changing requirements and drive continuous improvement
- English and Swedish are mandatory
