The Safety Operation Engineer develops and maintains safety protocols, conducts audits and training, ensures compliance with regulations, manages emergency plans, and oversees safety measures during testing.

• Train staff, contractors, and visitors on safety policies, proper equipment usage, and testing
procedures.
• Monitor and guide other team members, ensuring they maintain high standards in their roles.
• Focal point for implementing ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001. Participate in internal audit programs
of factories and other departments as required by Vinfast's ISO/EHS team
• Participate in daily track operations to identify potential safety risks and offer immediate solutions.
• Oversee the safe storage, handling, and use of hazardous materials and equipment.
• Support maintenance schedules to ensure tracks and facilities meet safety standards.
• Assist in planning and supervising test operations to ensure safety measures are adhered to without
disrupting testing efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in
track safety.
• Proactively recommend and implement improvements to safety processes and equipment.
• Work closely with the Track Supervisor on initiatives to enhance overall operational safety and
efficiency.
Quality management system follow ISO 17025 standard
• In charge for the quality management system of lab according to the ISO 17025 system; Maintain
and improve laboratory quality management system according to ISO 17025: 2017 and related
requirements.
• Focal point for implementation and coordination of assessment programs by Government
(Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, Bureau of Accreditation - Ministry of Science and
Technology) and certification organizations (UL, SGS , TUV...) to get accreditation certificate & 3rd
party certificate for testing activity.
• Develop plans and coordinate testing team to carry out proficiency testing programs and inter-laboratory comparisons according to ISO 17025 requirement. Coordinate product quality
certification programs at the lab through Witness test/ CTF stage 2 with international organizations
SGS, TUV, UL....
• Manage equipment calibration and verification activities; evaluation calibration supplier &
calibration result
• Build and track related records according to ISO 17025 requirements such as personnel records,
testing conditions, equipment, method validation document...
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of safety management experience, quality assurance follow ISO
17025& 9001, preferably in automotive testing, proving grounds, or industrial environments.
• Skills:
o In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
o Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities.
o Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
o Proficient in safety reporting tools and Microsoft Office.
• Certifications: ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, First Aid, Fire Safety, or related
safety certifications are highly desirable
