- Discuss Safety Practices
- Familiar in handling Safety Toolbox
- Supervision of Safety Implementation
- Monitor the safety performance of all on-site workers to ensure that all workers on the site work safely
- Encourage and educate employees to take precautions to protect themselves and equipment they use from damage
- Identify and review various health and safety concerns specific to the work site
- Investigate all injuries, accidents and near misses. Identify the causes and advise on any preventive measures that need to be implemented
- Review accident summary reports
- Ensure safety reports and data are collected and submitted to the superior and Engineering department, including:
- Man-hours worked and safety logistics
- Copies of accident reports
- Description of any unsafe conditions discovered and preventive measures to resolve those conditions
- Copy of inspection reports on equipment
- Copy of safety inspection checklists or visit summary reports
- Copy of audit reports and actions taken
- Update knowledge of OH&S legislation and practices
- Provide internal or external safety training to employees
- Act as liaison with the government (OH&S), WCB, ambulance services and hospitals, management, subcontractors and workers regarding aspects of health and safety
- Site orientations – Daily Toolbox Meetings
- College graduate of any 4-year course
- Must have BOSH and COSH certification accredited by DOLE
- Advance computer skills with M.S. Office
- Have good communication skills
- Must have the ability to keep confidential information
- Male
- At least 1 year of experience in the related field
- Not more than 35 years old
