Job Description
You will follow and implement all operational security and safety procedures within the Adventure Park by oversight of all contractors, suppliers or vendors working on Adventure Park. You will protect all guest and staff areas of the Adventure Park from unauthorized access or intruders and to keep the security and Adventure Park management informed on all matters relating to the Security and Safety aspects of the Adventure Park on a daily basis.
Main Duties:
Incident/Emergency Handling
- Incidents and Emergencies are emotionally charged situation, particularly when there are allegations of theft. All guests, staff or other people involved must be dealt with sensitively and professionally so as not to inflame the situation.
- As required by the Adventure Park Manager, to professionally conduct full inquiries and follow-up activities for all security related incidents.
- To attend all regular training and meetings called for.
- Attend daily briefings, and maintain duty in the area of assignment. Ensure that you have the information and equipment you need to do your job.
Guest Engagement
- Assisting in achieving GRI & NPS full engagement in the areas of the Resort/Adventure Park
- Helping the Supervisor/Manager to Enhance Adventure Park Services and Facilities
- Helping to Improve continuously the facility in terms of renewing equipment, brainstorming and come with ideas of new initiatives and diversify the choice facilities for our guests
- Ensure Safety and Security off all Adventure Park users.
- Be present in the operation for personalized guests’ interaction, i.e. : Lead and participate in creating guests preferences data base, anticipate needs
- Enhance the Adventure Park experience, guests to be greeted and assisted accordingly.
- Elevate island experiences, special focus on VIP & hotel guests, employee presence, warm welcome, better ambience and new services to be added throughout.
- Helping the Supervisor/Manager in planning and organizing annual events for hotel guests
Events, Activities and Entertainment
- Supporting the team in organising Adventure Park events and activities
- Promote merchandising/ Retails Sales within Adventure park/ recreation department.
Communication
- Ensure that all relevant information is provided are well taken on board
- Ensure that all communication with guests and colleagues is complete, accurate, engaging and positive.
- Maintain confidentiality of all guest information.
- Attend daily briefings with the rest of the team.
- Promptly, accurately and consistently report all guest incidents.
- Ensure and emphasize prompt solutions and reporting of any issues during the shift.
- Ensure that any challenge is escalated to Park Supervisor/Manager if need it and ensure that all such incidents are discussed in the departmental meeting.
Qualifications
- 1-2 Years of experience in a similar position with a Luxury Hotel/resort or Adventure Park.
- Certified in Security or Safety Marshall by local Security authority
- Has knowledge in firefighting equipment, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors and basic knowledge of occupational health and safety.
