We are looking for a Safety Manager to join our CPS plant in CABA. This role is critical in driving our safety strategy, collaborating with plant leaders, and implementing key initiatives to achieve our vision of “Zero is Possible.” If you are a results-oriented leader with a passion for safety, innovation, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do for Us

As the Safety Manager, you will:

  • Lead the continuous improvement of the site safety management system to meet ISO 45001 standards, KORE requirements, and local regulations.
  • Conduct and update risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Develop and execute an annual safety program in collaboration with plant functions, ensuring timely completion.
  • Oversee change management programs and enhance safety procedures and standard work instructions.
  • Deliver training programs for new associates, contractors, and technical personnel to build organizational capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze site safety performance, report data to leadership, and use trends for predictive analysis and strategy development.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure compliance and readiness for ISO and GAO audits.
  • Develop and manage emergency and incident management plans, including training and coordination with onsite and offsite emergency services.
  • Investigate incidents, track safety performance, and report data using the TCCC reporting system (KOSMOS).
  • Manage plant security programs, including electronic systems, manned guarding, and contractor/visitor protocols.
  • Oversee the safety budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Build a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization, starting with leadership and frontline teams.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to benchmark best practices and ensure safety programs remain current and effective.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on fire prevention and protection to minimize asset loss.
What Are the Qualifications Needed?

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a relevant technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in safety management, with a preference for candidates who have led teams and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
  • Expertise in ISO 45001, safety and security risk assessments, OHS KORE requirements, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, fire protection, and contractor management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Proven project management experience and the ability to drive results through innovation and problem-solving.
