Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute health and safety plans/training in the workplace
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
- Investigate accidents or incidents
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
- Prepare safety permits/approvals
- Provide professional expertise
The position is:
- Working for site owner overseeing contractors working on two construction projects
- Paid hourly
- Time and half after 40 hours worked
- Annual raises based on safety performance and reliability
- Mileage mobilization reimbursement to job area
- Daily per-diem will be given to cover all lodging and living expense based off of GSA.gov rates

- 3-7 years of safety experience is preferred
- Construction experience is preferred
- Automotive safety experience is preferred
- Safety Degree preferred
Requirements
- College degree preferred or relative job experience
- Ability to work all shifts (day/night/weekends)
- OSHA 30, 510 and 500 certs
- Experience working within a automotive plant
- Willing to travel
- Good communication skills
- Proficient Word/Excel/Powerpoint
- Valid Driver's License
