About Fluidstack

We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.

We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.

We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!

How We Operate
  • Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.

  • Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.

  • First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.

  • Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.

The HSE Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

  • Own safety on gigawatts of high-energy infrastructure, built from zero. Headcount and sites are scaling faster than institutional knowledge can keep up. The gap between a control written on paper and one actually applied in the field is where fatalities happen.

  • Keep a 24/7 workforce running at full intensity, not sidelined by injury. Fatigue, shift work, and high-energy exposure compound on the people running the sites and show up as injuries or claims if no one is tracking them. The work is to catch them first.

  • Keep environmental compliance ahead of the fastest build in the industry. Behind-the-meter generation spans multiple states, each with its own air permit conditions, runtime limits, and reporting deadlines, and the company adds sites faster than any manual compliance model can keep up with.

Role Scope
  • Own day-to-day safety on the ground at the Phoenix manufacturing site: walk the floor, find the hazards, and fix them before they find someone.

  • Run the site safety program end to end: training, permits, incident investigation, and corrective actions that actually close.

  • Build safe operating procedures with supervisors and operators for high-energy work: welding, cranes, powered equipment, and electrical.

  • Keep the site compliant with OSHA and company standards while production scales, without becoming the reason work stops.

What We're Looking For
  • The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.

  • You've owned safety at a manufacturing or heavy-industrial site, on the floor, not from an office.

  • You've investigated real incidents and driven corrective actions that changed how work gets done.

  • Operators bring you problems early because you fix things instead of writing people up.

  • You've built training that crews remember at the moment it matters.

  • You know OSHA general industry requirements cold and apply them with judgment.

  • Bonus: OSHA 30/500. CSP or ASP track. Fabrication or heavy assembly environments. Startup or greenfield sites. Spanish fluency.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.

  • Run a site safety program end-to-end: training, permits, incident investigation, corrective actions
  • Proven incident investigation experience and driving corrective actions that change work practices
  • Ability to build and deliver memorable training for crews
  • Thorough knowledge and practical application of OSHA general industry requirements
  • Collaborative problem-solver with credibility among operators (operators bring problems early)
  • OSHA 30/500 certification
  • CSP or ASP track
  • Experience in fabrication or heavy assembly environments
  • Experience at startup or greenfield sites
  • Spanish fluency
