We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Safety Manager to join our Safety Team in Mascot, NSW. The successful candidate will lead the way in fostering a proactive, high-performing safety culture.
This is a hands-on, standalone role with end-to-end responsibility for the safety function. This person will drive continuous improvement initiatives, influence positive safety behaviours, and work closely with stakeholders to build a safe, compliant, and resilient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and improve KONE’s safety management system
Set safety objectives and drive management commitment
Lead safety committees and forums within the unit
Monitor compliance through audits and risk assessments
Manage incident investigations and corrective actions
Develop and deliver safety communication and training programs
Collaborate with customers and partners on safety initiatives
Support crisis and emergency response planning
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial sector
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and management systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in project and change management
