What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
- Inculcate and improve the EHS & ESG culture within the organization
- Plan, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate Occupational Health & Safety Programs
- Formation of Safety Committee ,Lead the Periodic meeting to resolve the EHS related issues, discuss good practices, take corrective & preventive actions, prepare and maintain required EHS documentations for the plant
- Follow up for EHS related equipment Service, Maintenance, calibrations at facilities & construction sites.
- Assist & Propose the required EHS & Quality related documents, Certifications & other required documents for the Bid proposal. (Project Safety Plan, EHS Certifications, EHS Track Records, EHS Manual, SOP’s, etc.)
- Prepare the facility for On site emergency , Implement visitors , contractors Safety program for the facilities , provide Trainings & Briefings to field Managers, Engineers & Technicians
- Coordinate inspections, incident report, near miss investigations , near miss reports ,compliance audits
- Prepare & submit monthly EHS report to Global Director, EHS
- Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Waste Management & Disposal as per Statutory &/Regulatory Guidelines. Any other EHS & ESG requirements arising from time to time
- Implement and improve Safety DOJO for the facility
You have:
- Academic background in Bachelor of Engineering plus certification in ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) practices will be preferred
- Previous experience in or with 5 years to 8 years in factory in EHS role
- Skills
- Should have strong competency on structural analysis for problem solving
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
- Proficient in management systems such as ISO 14000, OHSAS 45001, ISO 9001 etc.
- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
- Decision Making skills
- A strategic approach to work
- Persistence and the ability to influence others
