Your role:
Perform and document Safety Assessments for Defense Systems in accordance with our established safety program plans such as :
- Preliminary Hazard Analysis
- Sub-system Hazard Analysis
- System Hazard Analysis
You will also perform and document Safety Analysis of systems and components as required for safety requirements verification, such as:
-Reliability Prediction Analysis (RPA)
-Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
-Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
On top of that you will support our system engineering teams in ensuring that the system design is compliant with the applicable safety requirements.
You are smart and get stuff done, and have:
- A degree (BSc or MSc) in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5+ years of experience in Systems Safety Assessments.
- Experience working with Defense systems (STANAG 4297, MIL-STD-882E) will be a plus.
- Working knowledge on ARP4761 and related safety deliverables.
- Working knowledge on SW tools for safety analysis (RPA, FMEA, FTA). Experience working with Isograph Reliability Workbench software will be a plus.
