Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
- Lead daily safety briefings, orientations, and training sessions for crews and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and hazard assessments across AMHS install areas.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, client, and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, permits, and certifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and client safety teams to resolve safety issues.
- Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Track and report safety performance metrics to leadership.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of safety coordination experience in construction or industrial environments.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in safety management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-risk environments with attention to detail.
- CSP, CHST, or other safety credentials
- Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom environments
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
