Essential Functions
- Maintain knowledge of FMCSA regulations and guidance regarding driver qualification
- Ensure drivers meet qualification standards at the company, state, and federal levels
- Ensure disqualified drivers are not operating, and assist with the requalification process
- Update driver qualification files with DOT physicals, CDLs, and other items as applicable
- Maintain data in driver database
- Medically clear drivers on leave to return to work
- Coordinate scheduling of physicals, drug, and alcohol testing
- Compliance with HIPAA
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in the Safety & Compliance role or equivalent experience
- High school diploma required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
