This position is the go-to expert for our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring drivers, technicians, managers, and other employees have access to the training and support they need to stay safe, compliant, and successful. This role manages training assignments, troubleshoots system issues, and helps keep training records accurate and up to date.
Beyond system support, you'll create engaging training content, videos, and learning materials while partnering with safety and operational leaders to support onboarding, compliance programs, and company-wide safety initiatives. This position is based in North Canton, Ohio. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our North Canton office to support team collaboration and business needs.
- Respond to calls and emails from drivers, Terminal Managers (TMs), and Regional Safety & Support Managers (RSSMs)
- Assist with login access, password resets, and general LMS navigation
- Assign missing or required training
- Update and reconcile records between iTacit and TMW systems
- Answer user inquiries related to training and system functionality
- Collect and document reported issues from field and leadership teams
- Log and track issues to determine validity, root cause, and impact
- Implement fixes where possible and coordinate with iTacit support when needed
- Manage manual role assignments not included in automated system syncs
- Assign and distribute monthly safety training and safety standdowns
- Maintain and update the training course catalog
- Implement new LMS features (e.g., skills tracking, document uploads)
- Monitor and approve/deny training enrollment requests
- Design and develop engaging, compliant training materials aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with RSSMs and leadership to gather subject matter expertise and training needs
- Develop training courses, including scripting, visuals, and instructional flow
- Create training videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
- Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with operational and safety prioritie
- Support and manage Lytx-related orientation processes
- Assist with rollout and onboarding of training program
- Conduct training sessions and system walkthroughs for TMs and RSSMs
- Assist with major projects (e.g., LMS rollouts, compliance programs such as HAZWOPER)
- Develop internal documentation, manuals, and SOPs (e.g., LMS guides, badge processes)
- Create user guides for field personnel (drivers, technicians, tank washers)
- Print and manage identification badges
- Perform miscellaneous administrative and operational tasks as assigned
- Experience with video creation tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, PowerPoint)
- Experience supporting or administering a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to field support needs
- Strong communication skills with both field personnel and leadership
- Experience with iTacit or similar LMS platforms
- Background in safety training, compliance, or transportation industry
- Familiarity with transportation or training systems (e.g., TMW, Lytx)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- 2+ years of administrative, training coordination, or compliance support experience preferred
