Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour

Shift: 1st *flexibility needed to accommodate variable schedules, including weekends and overtime

Location: Must be available to work at both our Pasadena and Deer Park plants as needed

This is a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement!


What You Will Do:

  • Lead EHS contact for on-site contractor management.
  • Lead Fire System inspections
  • Inspect processes and procedures that regards machinery and ensure good health and safety practice
  • Patrol the production line and check if workers follow safety rules
  • Conduct daily safety training for new and current employees
  • Conduct safety training on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc)
  • Carry out examinations of machinery, working environments and structures, taking measurements of noise, heat, and vibrations, and taking photographs and samples where necessary
  • Ensure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment, such as ear protectors or appropriate types of gloves and clothing
  • Investigate precautions taken to prevent industrial diseases
  • Investigate procedures for working in hazardous environments or with potentially harmful substances
  • Investigate accidents and complaints and determining if there has been a breach of health and safety law
  • Report on results of inspections and investigations
  • Providing safety support to plant employees
  • Other assignments as required

Qualification:

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Production experience preferred
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) speech and written
