SAFe Scrum Master

This position is expected to assist with advanced SAFe Agile project in the DoD space. This scrum master will be a part of a program that encompasses integrating dozens of mission critical applications operating in SAP FedRamp Cloud that is managed with a hyper-converged datacenter and is protected by a world class active cyber defense solution. This program is focused on cloud integration and next generation solutions, and is embarking on a SAFe Agile  SAP journey.

The SAFe Scrum Master will assist in providing services to a team that is part of a large program to deliver financial business process solutions/support in SAP Public Sector Finance and Federal Financials. 

• Coach teams on Agile values and principles
  
• Drive teams to improve continuously
  
• Foster teams collective responsibility and accountability
  
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g. Retrospective, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Refining) and ensure full team engagement.
  
• Anticipate and address teams potential or existing impediments
  
• Manage interdependencies between Agile teams
  
• Work with Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning and to keep the work backlog healthy and ready for execution
  
• Shield teams from external interference to achieve teams optimal functionality and productivity
  
• In Agile at scale environments, participate and represent the teams in Program Increment Planning meetings and other equivalent ceremonies
  

• General SAFe Agile implementation experience;
  
• User Story formatting, prioritization and estimation
  
• Agile team-level metrics
  
• Work experience with Scrum
  
• Experience with Agile work management (AWM) tools including set-up, planning and reporting
  
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile
  
• Ability to deliver working products and is responsible for ensuring teams understand and operate in accordance to Agile values and principles.
  
• Preferred: Ability to help the teams do this in the Fin business process/SAP technology space
  
• Preferred: General knowledge/background of Financial business process in SAP (any version)
  
• 3+ years of experience SAP Public Sector - Preferred
  
• 1+ years of experience Scrum Master - Required 
  

• High School Diploma/GED – Required
  
• Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
  

• *Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance or equivalent Certification – Required
  
• *SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) - Required
  
• SAFe Certifications – Strongly Preferred
  
• SAP Certifications – Strongly Preferred
  
• *Must have either SSM or CSM certification. SSM preferred over CSM.
  

• Must be US Citizen
  
• Must have Active DoD Secret clearance or Ability to Obtain it
  
• Willingness to be on-site daily
