SABRS Subject Matter Specialist – Fleets Migration with the Department of the Navy (DON)

We're scouting for an extraordinary SABRS Functional Management Expert, a visionary, and a trailblazer who can spearhead our critical data cleansing initiative, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition into Navy ERP.
Your Impact:
You'll be ensuring the transition of all active non-classified Navy transactions to the single General Ledger - the Navy ERP SAP application. Your leadership will transform the U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Pacific Fleet, and Navy Reserve Forces Command's voyage from the SABRS accounting system and other feeder systems to Navy ERP data cleansing activities for Secretariat Comptroller & Resources Department (SCRD) sustainment efforts. You're not just managing a transition; you're charting a course for the future, ensuring stability, and encouraging adoption of Navy ERP across diverse teams.
The Challenge:
- Marshal your extensive SABRS functional experience to influence the business systems and processes of SAP Finance and Supply Chain as implemented by the Navy ERP solution.
- Leverage your profound understanding of SABRS data and processes to optimize our transition.
- Provide executive-level project management prowess and navigate DoD Financial Management business process and data analysis transition from implementation to sustainment.
- Captivate executive level government staff with your strategy for the SAP ERP transition, showcasing your knowledge transfers and management solutions.
Your Credentials:
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to attain one.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2 additional years of relevant experience.
- 15+ years of relevant DoD ERP experience with expert-level knowledge of DoD financial management regulations, with a minimum of 4 years as a Leader in such initiatives.
- Experience as a program or project manager, acquisition manager, or senior business analyst.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse groups - senior DoD SES staff, academia, and industry in various settings such as meetings, workshops, and forums.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter who thrives in both independent and team environments.
Your Track Record:
- Expertise in SABRS, Navy ERP, SAP, Enterprise System Migrations.
- Prior assignments in financial management roles in the Marine Corps, US Fleet Forces Command, or PMW-220 performing an SAP migration for the DOD.
