Summary Generated by Built In

At 3E, we’re on a mission to accelerate the global energy transition. SynaptiQ, our flagship digital platform, is trusted by renewable energy leaders for its robust, hardware-agnostic solutions. As energy markets are drastically changing with new flexibility requirements, frequent curtailment, dynamic and negative pricing, and the rise of BESS, our customers are looking for tools to navigate and capitalize on this complexity. We’re investing in product innovation to make sure our clients can stay ahead, and we’re looking for a Product Manager who wants to lead the charge.

In this role, you’re a strategic, hands-on product leader who excels at translating evolving market realities into actionable roadmaps. You thrive on communication and cross-functional collaboration and you’re energized by challenges that require sharp decision-making and creative problem-solving. You know your way around SaaS products and the energy markets, and you have a keen eye for user experience and business value. Above all, you’re proactive, you own your outcomes, and you’re ready to build something that truly matters.

As Product Manager for Flexibility, you’ll be the driving force behind our flexibility solutions—owning everything from market analysis and product strategy to feature delivery and go-to-market success. You’ll work closely with our commercial, technical, and research teams, as well as external partners, to create a product that stands out in a rapidly changing sector.

Key Responsibilities of this Product Manager role:

  • Market intelligence & customer discovery: Monitor trends in energy flexibility, regulations, and the competitive landscape. Stay connected to our customers, gathering insights to keep us one step ahead.
  • Vision & roadmap: Set a clear direction and build a practical, prioritized roadmap that translates market and technical needs into real-world results.
  • Go-to-market & enablement: Shape how we position, price, and package our flexibility offering. Work with marketing to create impactful materials and make sure our commercial teams are ready for launch.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, R&D, and business teams to deliver valuable features that meet customer needs on time and at a high standard.
  • Stakeholder communication: Be the central point for all things flexibility, keeping everyone—internally and externally—on the same page.
  • Partnership development: Spot and grow partnerships with key players like VPPs, EMS, BMS, integrators, traders, and forecasting experts to strengthen our platform.
  • Operational support: Make sure sales and operations have the tools, training, and info they need to help customers succeed.
  • Innovation & continuous improvement: Keep up with new technologies and regulations, and always look for opportunities to make our product stronger.
  • Customer advocacy: Be the voice of the customer at every stage, making sure we deliver value where it counts.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

  • is fluent in English (both written and oral), any other language is a plus.
  • has 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, ideally in energy flexibility, power markets, or renewables
  • has a strong grasp of energy markets, flexibility topics (VPPs, BESS, curtailment, trading), and how regulations are changing
  • is an exceptional communicator : comfortable engaging technical and business teams, both internally and externally
  • has proven decision-making skills: confident building business cases, making tough calls, and setting priorities
  • has a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit: loves tackling new challenges and isn’t afraid of ambiguity
  • is collaborative and relationship-focused, with experience leading cross-functional work
  • is empathetic to customer needs and able to turn those insights into actionable requirements
  • is an analytical thinker: pays attention to detail but never loses sight of the bigger picture
