Job responsibilities and tasks:

  • Handling support requests (tickets or incoming calls) according to the Veeam Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Veeam Support Case Handling;
  • Providing initial support, diagnosing problems and determining the need for escalation;
  • Performing issue analysis, including investigation of relevant log files or any other type of incoming data;
  • Troubleshooting support requests, including running tests, adjusting configuration of supported products or underlying systems, fix application, installing updates and patches;
  • Ensuring proper and consistent communication of issue status to customers, providing necessary instructions and guidelines;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • Previous experience – 2 years of technical support experience of high-tech products/services is preferred
  • Knowledge of virtualization industry and the ability to relay information to potential customers
  • Familiarity with databases (SQLe), practical understanding of TCP/IP, Familiarity with Linux
