About the team

The Corporate Systems team at FIS is a dedicated group of professionals responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. They actively engage in innovation initiatives, tech talks, and discussions around AI, Agile, and Microsoft 365.

What you will be doing

• Primary focus on Rubrik Enterprise Backup solutions: installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for backup, recovery, and reporting workflows.

• Manage Rubrik clusters, policies, SLA domains, and integrations with cloud/hybrid environments.

• Perform upgrades, patching, and vulnerability management for Rubrik infrastructure.

• Ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met by monitoring and resolving backup/recovery issues.

• Generate statistical reports, support audits, and provide detailed status updates.

• Follow ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem Management).

• Provide 24/7 rotational support, including weekend on-call coverage.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and handle client escalations.

• Secondary exposure to other enterprise backup tools such as Avamar, NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam.

What you bring :

• 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise backup administration,

• 3+ years hands-on expertise Administration of Rubrik Enterprise Backup solutions -  installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, SLA compliance, reporting, and 24/7 rotational support.

• Exposure to other backup platforms such as Avamar, NetBackup, Commvault, and Veeam, plus collaboration on cross‑functional initiatives and client escalations.

• Strong scripting skills (mandatory) — proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting for automation.

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and hybrid backup strategies.

• Experience in designing and deploying Rubrik backup solutions per client needs.

• Familiarity with other backup technologies (Avamar, NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam) is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for network, domain, and backup-related issues.

• Client-facing experience and escalation handling.
