Job Description:
The RTR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the Record to Report (RTR) process for JCH, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This includes managing the month-end closing, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and guiding a team of accountants to achieve operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage RTR operations including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes.
- Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and responses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in RTR processes with a focus on month-end closing.
- Proficient in ERP systems or HFM/One Stream reporting
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats for Japanese and English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines effectively.
