The Job:
As a RTR Senior Analyst you’ll prepare, analyze, and ensure data is accurate, across all activities under the Retained Organization responsibility and will be involved in reviewing processes handled by our BPO located in India
You’ll get to:
- Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility.
- Conduct regular meetings, that include issue discussions.
- Resolve issues as appropriate and escalate issues further as needed.
- Ensure department systems and procedures follow company policies.
- Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures.
- Participate in and actively support the integration of new businesses into Shared Services Center.
- Ensure to follow the Corporate Closing Calendar and all task deadlines are reached with the accuracy and quality expected.
- Enforce and enhance internal control structures and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives.
- Support Internal and External Audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner, and internal Balance Sheet Reviews performed by Corporate Controllership and BU Controllership Teams.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in SBD’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP specifically).
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes including experience in the RTR processes (GL Accounting).
- Ability to multitask, highly organized.
- Ability to drive the completion of critical tasks.
- Excellent problem identification and prioritization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of some internal control activities and practices.
- Demonstrated penchant for continuous improvement of managerial skills.
- Goal oriented, ability to reach tight deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate in English in a fluent manner.
- Knowledge/experience in US GAAP is a plus.
