YOUR MISSION

You would be the right fit for the position if you have experience and passion for operations, can think on your own and act with autonomy in a growing start-up.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Support real time operations on a daily basis and ensure their stability, by monitoring the overall status of orders and taking action when necessary;
  • Ensure excellent operating conditions in cities and countries of Glovo, by taking preventive measures according to planned events;
  • Proactively manage the Glovo network on the day of the operation, controlling cities and countries, fleet capacity and partners;
  • Perform real time fleet management, through manual and automated actions, using the tools provided by Glovo and supporting the courier fleet;
  • Deep-dive and have a complete understanding of the local operations at all times;
  • Handle proactive contingency day planning during times of disruption;
  • Optimize metrics deviations at city, country or global level;
  • Become the main trigger of the operational levers, improving the network capabilities;
  • Ensure the stability of day-to-day operations;

You have:

  • Proven experience of minimum 1 year in an Operations Control Center;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and track thousands of movements every day;
  • B2 level of English, both written and spoken;
  • Proficient in MS Office, G-docs;
  • Data-driven approach in the solving of complex issues;
  • Excellent abilities to work in a team but to also act independently when needed;
  • Capability to work under pressure in a changing environment;
  • Flexibility to work in 24/7 shifts, including weekends, nights and occasional holidays;
  • Positive attitude and open for changes;
  • Prioritizing skills: have an OKRs oriented in order to be able to take decisions or tasks over others in real time, being able to manage your time and workload balance;
  • Being able to follow up processes and being curious in order to understand when it is necessary make an exception and do the task in another way;
