The Scrum Master at level I6 is a mid-level leadership role responsible for facilitating Agile practices across software engineering teams. This position supports cross-functional squads working on building secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, coach, and process expert, ensuring teams adhere to Agile principles and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Implement and scale Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) across teams and programs.
• Empower teams to self-organize and collaborate effectively.
• Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and burndown charts.
• Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to align delivery with business goals.
• Build dashboards to visualize team performance.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Sprint velocity and delivery predictability.
• Team satisfaction and engagement.
• Reduction in cycle time and improved throughput.
• Quality of deliverables and stakeholder feedback.
