Led by our Chief Operating Officer, Technology and Transformation, the independent Quality & Transformation team works with teams across the company to help transform and improve our practices, processes and methods. Members of this team serve to enhance employee and customer experience by using philosophies and tools like Lean, Agile, Design Thinking and latest technologies like Robotics Process Automation. This team stays abreast of emerging technologies, people practices, and other concepts related to the "future of work" and help introduce them in the organization.
Team: Mumbai - Robotic Process Automation - COE Team
The team seeks a self-motivated, analytical UiPath Senior RPA Developer to help develop and maintain automation projects to drive process efficiency for Morningstar teams globally.
The candidate should also have experience as an Architect in Uipath and expect to lead the RPA solution design, remediate the risk on bot deliveries. and mentor the team on technical competencies. The position is based in Mumbai.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global business teams to guide requirements discussions, identify new process opportunities, assess feasibility and business impact.
- Lead the efforts in RPA solution design. Manage sprint tasks and work closely with RPA developers to resolve technical issues. Perform code reviews to ensure the code readable and the architecture is scalable.
- Assist RPA program leaders on high level project forecasts and resource plans. Remediate risks that are affecting sprint-wise bot deliveries. Provide routine updates to stakeholders on project status and achievements.
- requirements. Work with infrastructure engineer on platform maintenance and cloud integrations.
- Assist RPA team manager to mentor the team on technical competencies. Head responsibility for ongoing suggestions and best practices for UiPath implementation. Enforce the adoption of coding standards and reusable components.
- Stay abreast of latest RPA technologies, such as new UiPath features, AI integration into RPA, etc., and adopt in RPA project development.
- Comply with company's IT security policy and SOX compliance guidelines.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of automation or system design experience on complex multi-platform IT projects (web-based, windows-based, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database, API, etc.). Programming background in .NET/Java/Python is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of strong experience in the UiPath RPA platform, including Studio/Robot/Orchestrator, the overall architecture design, as well as the entire spectrum of UiPath products (Document Understanding, AI Centre, Action Center, Computer vision, etc.)
- Well-experienced in different types of RPA projects:
- Front-end automation, especially the understanding of HTML and CSS for building stable selectors.
- Complex Excel automation projects, to manipulate data across multiple files using VBA/Python or built-in UiPath activities.
- Back-end automation projects, including email, database, API. Familiar with SQL.
- Experience in PDF automation using UiPath document understanding / ABBYY Flexi Capture, or other AI/ML solutions is a big plus.
- Experience in integration with Power Automate/Power Apps is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills that be able to find best approach communication in a constructive and solution-focused manner. Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Strong problem solving skills. Able to work on unfamiliar projects and identify root causes in a timely manner. Provide logical and creative thinking to problems and solutions.
- Understanding the implementation of CI/CD. Hands-on knowledge in cloud integration such as AWS is a plus.
- Adaptability and flexibility with Agile and continuous improvement mindset.
- Self-motivated to expand knowledge and abilities to increase impact and contribution.
