Job Description:

This project manager role will be part of the global Royal Canin Delivery organization, providing Project and Program Management capabilities to the Royal Canin Division. As so, the deployment manager will be leading digital projects at a local, regional and global level, following project management best practices, implementing project governance and control, and controlling schedule, cost, quality, scope and people. 

What are we looking for?

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent Project management certification preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management

  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in building and leading highly effective project delivery teams.

  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to manage project budgets and timelines.

  • Experience with project management tools such as SmartSheet, Trello, Jira, etc.

  • Change Management knowledge preferred

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Manages the deployment of DT projects, from initiation over implementation and hand-over to BAU, securing benefits delivery through best-in-class management of quality, cost and time.

  • Ensure the project is following Royal Canin Delivery Playbooks and standards.

  • Develops and maintains project timelines, tracks progress and makes necessary adjustments to ensure project goals are met.

  • Drives projects in both waterfall & agile methodologies and embraces change management throughout the lifecycle of the deployment.

  • Facilitate governance forum to ensure transparency and relevant communication with key stakeholders.

  • Leads and engages a high performing team of up to 10 people. Coordinates internal and 3rd party resources during development, implementation and nurturing phases.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional global and regional teams to define project scope, requirements, benefits and timelines.

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the relevant business area and technologies to support the development of accurate and concise functional requirements.

  • Identifies, mitigates and communicates project risks and issues.

  • Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for resources planning, project milestones, risks, issues and financials.

  • Delivers solutions which are quality and functionally tested, with supporting project documentation which meet functional and technical requirements.

  • Engages senior stakeholders across multiple functions, Business Partnership, Enterprise Architecture, DT Directors and business leaders to ensure successful project deployment and benefits achievement.
