Job Description

Common Properties Management Cooperative provides professional property management services that are specialized to fit the needs of owners in Minnesota and Wisconsin.We are looking to fill our full time Roving Maintenance position .
Purpose: To be responsible under the supervision of the Property Manager for all maintenance issues. This includes, but is not limited to: contracting new vendors and control of all resources/equipment to insure that the properties are maintained in good physical and operational condition.
The following job description assigned to the roving maintenance will include but will not be limited to the following:
Maintenance and Repairs:
a. Complete maintenance work orders for general maintenance in a timely manner
b. Coordinate all repairs or maintenance with residents or vendors when necessary
c. Report to Property Manager
d. Keep a detailed log of activities & mileage
e. Recognize and report maintenance issues to Property Manager
f. Recognize and report any major repair or replacement needed to Property Manager
g. Monitor/locate outside contractors, i.e. snow removal companies, trash, lawn maintenance crews, etc. upon request by Property Manager
h. Perform all other duties as directed by the Property Manager and assist the overall team effort
Supply Inventory:
a. Maintain inventory of maintenance equipment as well as all other tools and building supplies etc.
b. Procure supplies for inventory.
c. Follow purchase order system established by Management and maintain.
d. Maintain petty cash as directed by Management, if any.
Other:
a. Attend manager's meetings or any other meeting or training as required by management.
Job Requirements:
a. General maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
b. Ability to complete service orders in a timely, accurate manner
c. Ability to organize and show attention to detail.
d. Ability to work independently or with a team as circumstances demand.
e. Provide professional image and service to all customers.
f. Reliable transportation.
g. Basic tools.
h. Ability to stand, walk, reach, use stairs, climb ladders, bend.
i. Ability to lift 40-50 pounds on a regular basis.

Additional Information

Compensation: $24.00 per hour DOE.
