FCS - Rotational Project Engineer
ROLE DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview
The FCS RPE is an extension of the FCS Operations Manager in the REGION OR CLIENT BASE they are involved with. This individual is to ensure that STOBG’s standards and values are maintained by all STOBG team members and that our mission statement is upheld. The FCS RPE is in place to serve as a project manager / estimator for national client accounts and facilitate the LOCAL BU’S needs and to support and facilitate the STOBG team’s requirements. The FCS-RPE is to ensure that the team is unified and that the product that Estimating, Purchasing, Operations and Accounting produces is of the quality and content expected of their client’s and STOBG’s standards.
The FCS RPE main points of focus should be:
- Serve as the primary client contact and lead for all estimating and project management operations for specific client accounts.
- Coordinate all bidding and operational coordination with subcontractors and / or 3rd party general contractors, as required per each project.
- Support the local teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Supporting on-boarding and training of STOBG personnel and local subcontractors.
- Supporting on-boarding and training of client and partner personnel.
- Deliver training for the Day2+ platform for all parties
- Provide feedback on the Day2+ platform, compiling and vetting feedback from the local BU’s, and communicating that feedback to the STOBG Tech Ops personnel.
- Assist local teams to troubleshoot the Day2+ platform as they encounter issues during operations.
- Motivating a unified team focused on organizational and account goals.
- Schedule adherence.
- Help facilitate the behavior of all parties working within the platform to ensure we are gathering the appropriate data, KPI’s, etc. for our internal use and our client’s success.
- Monitoring and evaluating KPI’s across their region to identify opportunities for improvement of processes and project team performance for all team members (end to end).
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Construction, Engineering, Management preferred
- 1- 3 years of related experience and/or training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary Range:
$75,000-$85,000
