Key responsibilities and duties:
Ensuring compliance with all applicable MRP.
Ensuring that all Maintenance required to be carried out in the hangars, plus any fault rectification carried out during base maintenance, is carried out to the required TI and quality standards.
Ensuring that all Maintenance required to be carried out on the line, including line fault rectification, is carried out to the required TI and quality standards.
Ensuring that all Maintenance required to be carried out in the workshops, including fault rectification, is carried out to the required TI and quality standards.
Satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracted operators and customers in accordance with the work specification (Work Order and approved MOE procedures).
Ensuring that the organisation's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance.
Establishing a program of training and continuation training using internal and/or external sources.
Ensuring that any work for internal hangars and workshops or external contracted or subcontracted organisations within their area of responsibility, are correctly detailed in a work order/contract and that the requirements of the contract/work order are fulfilled in respect of inspection.
Providing feedback to the Quality System about the services provided by contracted and sub-contracted organisations.
Investigating findings resulting from independent quality audits, ensuring full root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions, within their area of responsibility.
Ensuring through the workforce within their area of responsibility, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is to a standard acceptable to the organisation and the MAA.
Implementation of the quality and safety policies within their area of responsibility.
Ensuring human factors principals are implemented within their area of responsibility.
Ensuring the incoming inspection of components, parts, materials, tools and equipment is carried out, and that such items are accompanied with appropriate release certificates, are correctly classified, sufficiently segregated, and stored according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. (Managed through Support and Supply managers).
Ensuring the availability of all necessary maintenance data.
Occurrence reporting (DASOR/VORs) and cover for Air Safety manager at Reviews.
Capability authorising (VAIL-QAS-007 Process) on behalf of the Form 4 Base & Line.
Managing Air Safety within their area of responsibility.
Aircraft Release from Maintenance
Deputy to the Base & Line Form 4 Holder
Advisor to the AM(M) & AM(MF) for Continued Airworthiness (Caw) & Caw interface with the CAMO and DDH.
Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.

Experience of working in a Mil/Civil Part 145 regulated environment.
Chinook Type experience.
Aircraft documentation.
