·       Primary skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift administration and support.

·       Secondary skills: Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift 4.x and practical exposure to ROSA.

·       Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc

·       Experience: 6 to 8 years

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations: Provide L3 administration and support for ROSA and OpenShift environments, including cluster configuration, lifecycle management, upgrades, and operational maintenance.

Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex platform, cluster, networking, storage, security, and workload-related issues, coordinating with Red Hat, AWS, and client teams where required.

Cluster & Platform Management: Manage OpenShift resources, Operators, namespaces, RBAC, networking configurations, storage, and other platform components.

Automation & DevOps: Support automation and operational activities using Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps/GitOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar technologies.

Security & Access Management: Implement and manage RBAC, IAM integrations, security policies, network policies, secrets, and other platform security controls.

Monitoring & Observability: Configure and support monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities using OpenShift monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tooling.

Performance & Capacity Management: Monitor platform health, capacity, performance, and availability, and proactively identify potential issues.

Collaboration & Escalation Management: Work closely with application, infrastructure, networking, security, AWS, and Red Hat teams to resolve complex issues within the ROSA shared responsibility model.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift administration and support.

Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift 4.x and practical exposure to ROSA.

Strong troubleshooting skills across Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, workloads, networking, storage, Operators, and RBAC.

Good understanding of AWS services relevant to ROSA, including VPC, IAM, load balancing, Route 53, and networking.

Experience with Linux/RHEL and container technologies.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Experience with automation/IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.

Understanding of OpenShift security, network policies, IAM/RBAC, and secrets management.

Ability to work with multiple teams and coordinate with AWS and Red Hat support where required.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ArgoCD/GitOps practices.

Experience supporting application migrations or onboarding workloads to OpenShift/ROSA.

Experience working in enterprise production support environments.

Preferred Certifications

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration

Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator/Architect credentials

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
