Make a difference as Root Sourcing Manager
As the Root Sourcing Manager, you will lead the sourcing strategy for tapioca roots and manage the raw material procurement team. You will be responsible for securing supply, optimizing costs, and developing long-term partnerships with farmer networks, associations, and suppliers. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Ingredion’s agribusiness foundation through innovation, supplier engagement, and operational efficiency.

What you will do :

• Increase root supply from farmers with timely and cost-effective sourcing

• Lead supplier development initiatives to improve cost competitiveness and long-term supply security

• Align root sourcing plans with overall agribusiness development strategies

• Engage farmers, cooperatives, and local authorities to identify root supply improvement opportunities

• Manage SAP procurement data and ensure integrity of procurement processes

• Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate proposals, lead negotiations, and manage contracts

• Maintain supplier scorecards and lead quarterly business reviews to track performance

• Collaborate cross-functionally with AP and procurement support teams to ensure seamless operations

What you will bring :

• 10 years of experience in commodity sourcing or general procurement; MNC background preferred

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or Chemistry

• Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills

• High analytical ability with experience in complex decision-making under ambiguity

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred

• Fluent in Thai and strong command of English (spoken and written)
