As Software Test Engineer in the Edge Enablement SW team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, verifying and validating cutting-edge embedded software solutions that meet highest security standards. Your work will directly influence the reliability and safety and security of advanced industrial and embedded systems.

Your responsibilities

  • Run verification of high‑quality software including on chip ROM code functionality
  • Drive seamless collaboration across diverse global teams, shaping effective communication and fostering a truly international working environment
  • Opportunity to take on a key technical leadership role, guiding a validation team and influencing the quality and direction of product development
  • Automate testing for embedded software and help shape modern testing workflows
  • Contribute to the creation of new, innovative professional software products
  • Participate in the design and architecture of testing tools and validation apps
  • Support requirements specification for future software features
  • Develop and maintain test scripts on state‑of‑the‑art microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Follow established software development processes and quality standards, participate on their improvements to ensure excellence

Your profile

To thrive in this role, you bring:

  • A solid understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller/microprocessor architecture
  • Experience in low level asm, C programming; Python (or other languages) for programming and scripting
  • Solid debugging skills for embedded targets and low-level software
  • Advantage: practical experience in ROM code development or testing
  • Familiarity with test automation, continuous integration and modern development workflows
  • Experience in technical team leadership
  • A proactive, pragmatic mindset and ability to work independently
  • Eagerness to learn and explore new technology trends
  • A collaborative spirit and openness to knowledge sharing
  • Advantage: experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker
  • Good English communication skills (B2 or higher)
