Every so often we meet someone whose skills don't fit neatly into one job description, but who we know would make our team better. If that's you, we want to hear from you before we post a role at all.
We're looking for people with cross-disciplinary knowledge spanning telecom, engineering, software, education, and/or customer management. If your background blends two or more of these — or doesn't fit a tidy label but adds real value — this is your way in.
Who We're Looking For- Smart and always striving to learn something new
- Dedicated to getting the job done, not just checking a box
- Committed to continuous improvement, in your work and in yourself
- A great teammate who's also a self-starter — you take initiative without being asked
- Flexible, and comfortable when the plan changes
- Curious about the whole business, not just your slice of it
- Sharp enough to know when to handle something yourself and when to escalate or bring in a teammate
- The chance to learn as much of the business as you're willing to take on
- A genuine belief that you do your best work when you're taking care of yourself
- Recognition and reward when you hit goals that move the company forward
- A company that's as committed to its own growth as we ask you to be to yours
- Competitive compensation
- Managing customers and leading meetings in a way that meets their needs and strengthens our reputation
- Using organizational systems to track tasks and hold yourself and others accountable
- Strong technical writing, editing, and research skills
- Partnering with subject-matter experts to understand and document projects and processes
- Prioritizing work based on team feedback and your own read of what a project needs

What We Do
Native Network believes that the path to self-determination for Native American Tribes is through control of telecommunications and technology. We help tribes leverage telecommunications systems and services to ensure economic vitality and diversity of their respective communities—enhancing educational, healthcare and business opportunities. Our vision is to build a telecommunications network that connects all the tribes of the United States—a modern network that mirrors historic trade routes. In America’s pre-European history, indigenous people were connected by a sophisticated structure of routes that not only encouraged trade, but also promoted cooperation and prosperity. Using historic trade routes as a model, and modern technology as a means, we create a new age of prosperity for participating tribes and their communities. Native Network understands telecom challenges in rural communities. Our team built the first cellular system in North Eastern Washington, branded as Cellular One. We built the first competitive telephone company delivering dial up Internet and phone service to remote cities in Washington, Idaho and Oregon. We’ve also engineered, designed, implemented and supported both rural and urban competitive wireless and wireline carriers with broadband and telecom infrastructure deployment. Our team has 75+ years of experience in telecommunications, technology, operations, management, and consulting. Our focus is bridging the digital divide in rural and underserved markets, but we have a wealth of experience working in metropolitan and global markets as well. We have a variety of offerings to assist tribes with their technology planning and development in their journey to telecom independence. • Feasibility studies • Development of a tribal branded mobile phone service • Engineering, design, equipment selection & sales • Data center design & execution • Various professional services
