YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, program, and troubleshoot robotic systems, including industrial robotics, cobots, and automated tooling.
- Lead integration projects for new robotic cells, conveyors, end-of-arm tooling, and machine vision systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions on automation-related downtime.
- Support plant engineering teams with continuous improvement initiatives to improve cycle time, quality, and throughput.
- Create and maintain documentation: schematics, preventive maintenance plans, and programming standards.
- Train maintenance and production staff on robotic system operation and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety) on automation upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety standards.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with industrial robotics (e.g., UNIVERSAL, FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
- Proficiency in robot programming, troubleshooting, and integration.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, sensors, and automation controls.
- Experience with CAD software and reading mechanical/electrical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0, data collection, and smart factory automation.
