Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team in developing advanced perception systems for robotic applications within the aircraft manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing optimized computer vision algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms encompassing image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, tracking, and pose estimation using both conventional and deep learning methodologies.
Create efficient and real-time convolutional neural network (CNN) models.
Utilize deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, Pytorch for AI model development and OpenCV, eigen,LAPACK, GMTL for the image processing.
Engage in rapid prototyping using Python, coupled with coding and debugging skills in C++.
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication of technical concepts to management and team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in computer vision algorithm development.
Solid foundation in image processing, neural networks, CNNs, and vision transformer architectures.
Expertise in the entire deep learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model engineering, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Experience in developing algorithms for 2D/3D sensors.
Proficiency with Deep Learning libraries and algorithms (TensorFlow & Keras, PyTorch, FastAI, U-Net, YOLO >= 5, Mask-R CNN, SAM).
Experience with AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS), CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience in model quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation is beneficial.
Experience with TensorRT, Deepstream, OpenVino, and TRITON is a plus.
Understanding of sensor interfaces and calibration techniques is advantageous.
Knowledge of Kalman filters, particle filters, clustering techniques is a plus.
