Job Description

Roadway Design Lead Engineer

We use our extensive knowledge in planning, designing, and managing transportation systems to help clients deliver the infrastructure that keeps communities connected and economies moving. From major roadway improvements to complex transportation programs, AECOM partners with public and private clients to solve today's challenges and prepare for tomorrow's growth.

AECOM's Transportation team continues to expand across Georgia, supported by a strong portfolio of roadway projects and long-term client relationships. This position offers the opportunity to take on increasingly high-impact roadway design projects, contribute to high-profile transportation initiatives, and play a key role in delivering projects that make a lasting impact.

  • Lead the development and delivery of roadway design projects.
  • Provide technical leadership, quality oversight, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support project execution through planning, scheduling, and collaboration with project managers and clients.
  • Mentor engineering staff and promote technical excellence across project teams.

 

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • BS in Civil Engineering or related field and 6 years of roadway design experience or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or education.
    • Georgia PE License or the ability to obtain in 6 months

    Preferred:

    • Experience leading Georgia roadway projects from preliminary designs through final delivery.
