Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Roadmap Planner to work in our San Antonio, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Air Force’s Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex systems. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategic level roadmaps to ensure the correct details are extracted from multiple teams to show a combined and comprehensive capability roadmap.
- Implement program roadmaps based on provided milestones and strategic level objectives to meet contractual/program requirements.
- Monitor, analyze, and report performance against baseline schedules to ensure on-time delivery of IDCS and other program capabilities.
- Work closely with multiple industry and government performers to develop detailed capability roadmaps, keep these roadmaps current, and seamlessly integrated based on milestones.
- Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies, and inter-dependencies with related projects.
- Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
- Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
- Identify capability critical path and task dependencies.
- Perform ‘what if’ scenarios within the roadmap.
- Develop roadmap version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure they are followed during the development and maintenance of roadmaps.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, and creating roadmaps from Jira.
- Ability to identify and communicate critical path dependencies across multiple milestones.
- Strong understanding of strategy and how it impacts the overall vision of the organization and be able to communicate this vision to tactical teams.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work with the various functional areas to identify and maintain all roadmaps across multiple different initiatives.
- Leads the way in creating exquisite roadmaps that clearly articulate the strategic vision and milestones of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling theory and related best-practices (e.g., PASEG).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical scheduling details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based) experience.
- Proven working knowledge of Critical Path.
- Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the organizational roadmap.
- Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.
- Must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
- Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or USCYBERCOM
- Prior experience with defensive cyber
- Prior experience with Jira and Microsoft Project

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
