Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
Requirements:
-1-2 year's Med/Surg experience preferred.
-Experience with oncology patients including chemotherapy administration preferred.
-Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
-Current BLS required.
- Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate preferred or successful completion of ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course within four months of hire.
-Oncology nurse certification preferred.
-Current Registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required. BSN preferred.
Days w/eo wknd & hols; 7a-7:30p
Salary Range: $59.144/hr - $68.028/hr
(Commensurate with Experience)

Skills Required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Registered Nurse registration in New York State
- Nursing diploma and licensure
- One to two years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Experience caring for oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration
