Moffitt Cancer Center's Operating Room is a rapidly growing and advancing department, offering nurses the opportunity to expand their clinical expertise while working with some of the most advanced surgical technologies available. About the Role
Moffitt Cancer Center's Operating Room delivers state-of-the-art surgical care and supports one of the busiest minimally invasive and robotic cancer surgery programs in Florida. Our team cares for patients undergoing a wide variety of procedures, including:
- Gastrointestinal (GI)
- Genitourinary (GU)/Urology
- Gynecologic (GYN)
- Breast
- Plastic and Reconstructive
- Cutaneous
- General Surgery
- Brachytherapy
- Bronchoscopy
- Emergent surgical cases
Our operating rooms are equipped with advanced imaging, image-guided surgical technology, and intraoperative radiation therapy capabilities, allowing nurses to practice at the forefront of cancer care.
As part of Perioperative Services, our nurses are committed to Patient and Family-Centered Care and participate in a collaborative practice environment supported by Shared Governance, empowering nurses to contribute to clinical and operational decision-making.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience as both a Circulator and/or Scrub Nurse in a hospital and/or ambulatory surgery setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, patient-centered attitude
- Desire to learn, grow, and advance within the department
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment

Salary Range
$40.27 - $60.40Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
