Provides direct care to the neonatal patients. Responsible for assessment, medication administration, carrying out providers orders, evaluating their effect, documenting care provided and communicating with the care team. Provides care in adherence to all hospital policies and accreditation standards.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing
- Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state RN License.
- Current BLS certification
- NRP and STABLE certification within 6 months
- NCI Certification and Team STEPPS training within 90 days
Experience:
- One year of clinical experience in area of clinical specialty is preferred. New graduates upon the completion of RN residency program is preferred.
