Inspire High-Performing Teams.An established post-acute care organization is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations within a rehabilitation and long-term care setting. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, developing clinical teams, and creating a positive environment for patients, families, and staff.
In this role, you will provide operational and clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary nursing team while ensuring excellence in patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and overall unit performance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support personnel.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for clinical staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource allocation to support quality patient care.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, patient safety, and service excellence.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, social workers, and families to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and employee development activities.
- Address patient, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion.
- Support budget management and operational goals while maintaining high standards of care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience in an Assistant Nurse Manager level role or higher.
- Rehabilitation nursing experience required.
- At least 2 years of supervisory, charge nurse, or management experience.
- Strong understanding of geriatric, subacute, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation patient populations.
- Experience managing teams within rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or long-term care environments.
- Proven ability to improve staff engagement, retention, and clinical outcomes.
- Experience with accreditation, quality programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust among families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $85,280 - $132,000
