Cypress Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Nurse Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise the care and services provided by Licensed Nurses and Quality of Life Specialists. Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed, and complete documentation as required.
The RN Manager is an RN who is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls, as indicated.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Nurse Manager:
- Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift. Administers direct care as necessary.
- Gives and receives shift reports.
- Rounds twice a shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
- Assists in developing comprehensive care plans
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- RN currently licensed in the State. At least 6 months nursing experience in long term care setting preferred.
