Job SummaryInfection Prevention and Control (IPCP), Antibiotic Stewardship (ASP), and Restorative Nursing programs; provides education, surveillance, outbreak investigation, and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Qualifications• Primary training in nursing/medical technology/microbiology/epidemiology; RN preferred with IP experience.
Preferred Qualifications• 1+ year RN with infection prevention/control experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Conduct surveillance and outbreak investigations.
• Develop policies, training, and action plans.
• Educate staff/residents/families; monitor documentation.
• Maintain immunizations/TB screening records.
• Participate in QAPI and required reporting.
Physical Requirements• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.
• Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.
