About the Role:
As an ER RN , you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your primary goal will be to stabilize patients and provide them with the necessary care to ensure their safety and well-being. You will be expected to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in emergency nursing (CEN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Experience with trauma patients
- Experience with pediatric patients
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency department
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Skills:
As an ER RN I, you will utilize your clinical skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care. You will need to be proficient in assessing and triaging patients, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient progress. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide education and support to patients and their families. Your ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure will be crucial in this role.
