POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the total care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each patient assigned. He/she initiates healthcare training and education to the patient and/or patient’s family to facilitate recovery. Promote and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment. He/she will also provide safe, effective delivery of patient care in compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual, as well as regulations set forth by the state, and federal agencies.
