Position Summary:
The Psychiatric RN is an integral member of the psychiatric multidisciplinary team. The Psychiatric Nurse utilizes his/her knowledge, judgment and skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for psychiatric patients under his/her supervision. The Psychiatric Nurse practice involves diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential problems, and the provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being. In addition, it is a role of collaboration, coordination of services and patient/family education.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered as an RN in the state of New York.
Pay Range:
$41.183 - $60.709 per hour
